Project Project Runway #4- Woman on the Go!

This week on Project Project Runway the challenge was to design a look for the woman on the go who wants a stylish, modern and comfortable look that can be worn all day.

The woman that I designed for is a young mother with several young children. She is involved at school, her kids are active in a variety of activities and she wants to be comfortable going from place to place. But she also wants to look good and stylish. She wants to be ready for a quick lunch with friends as well as be able to meet with the other parents at school.

I designed a tunic dress out of gray stretch fabric. She can change the look for the occasion.




She is comfortable but looks good. The modern mom on the go.

Though I designed a simple dress I hope the judges give me credit for thinking about who I was designing for- a mom with kids wanting to look good.  She is on the go all the time.

I am also hoping that I am given a pass next week as my model and her "family" head west into the Black Hills of South Dakota.  There won't be anytime to spend in the studio.  Looking forward to a normal schedule with the return of school :)
